The use of behaviorism in the classroom is very common and will likely persist to assess student learning. However, the educator must carefully develop learning activities so that they provide prompt feedback while supporting recall of the concepts.
While Behaviorism is not the only way that students learn, it is an important learning theory that instructors can use in developing activities to support learning.
